Moving Forward in Faith and Hope
How does Moving Forward in Faith and Hope differ from the Annual Diocesan Appeal (ADA)?
The ADA was established to help meet annual operating needs faced by the Diocese. Moving forward in Faith and Hope has been designed to enhance existing funding sources and provide a stable source of earnings from which very specific, current and future challlenges can be addressed --
Current and future needs are being addressed by this extraordinary campaign. These funds are restricted t use in the following areas:
* Strengthening the Church of Davenport
* Supporting Our Clergy and Seminarians
* Reaching out to our People and
* Assisting our Parishes
an additional difference is that the ADA is ongoing. Moving Forward in Faith and Hope is an extraordinary, historic effort. the ADA will still be conducted in the fall and parishioners should think in terms of Moving Forward in Faith and Hope campaign above their normal contributions to the parish and ADA.
