The annual subscription drive for the Catholic Messenger is now underway.  The Catholic Messenger is the official means for the Diocese of Davenport and for Bishop Amos to communicate with the faithful.  The Messenger enjoys a long history with a stellar reputation.  since at least the 1930's the Messenger has had a notable reputation in the Catholic Press.  While on my recent working vacation, a man on the ship told me that one of the things he has always appreciated about the Diocese of Davenport was The Catholic Messenger.
